About Zunto
Zunto is a free browser game site. Everything here runs in your browser — there is nothing to install, no account to create, and no cost.
Who runs it
Zunto is operated by Rahul Saini in India. It is a small, independently run site, not a studio or a publisher. Questions, problems and suggestions all go tozunto.live@gmail.com and are read by a person.
Where the games come from
We do not make the games. Each one was built by somebody else and released under an open licence that allows us to host it. Before a game goes on the site we check its licence, check that its artwork and sound are covered too, and check that its name is not someone else's trademark. Games that fail any of those checks do not go up, no matter how good they are.
Every game is credited on its own page with a link to the original, and the full list is on the credits page. If something here is yours and you want it removed or credited differently, the content report pageexplains how, and we act on it quickly.
How it pays for itself
Ads — and we keep them deliberately light. There are no ads on top of a game while you are playing, and nothing is shown before you have had a chance to play at all. Between games, ads appear at natural break points with a limit on how often. Some games offer an optional ad in exchange for an extra life or a hint; that is always your choice, and saying no never blocks your progress.
The reasoning is simple: a site that interrupts you constantly is a site you leave.
What we care about
- Speed. The site has a performance budget and games are checked against it. Nothing ships that is slow on a mid-range phone.
- Playing on a phone. Every game is tested with touch controls before it goes live. Games that only work with a keyboard go in the PC section instead of being squeezed onto a phone badly.
- Crediting people properly. The games are other people's work and the site says so everywhere.
